Ravenshaw, England. Home to Vampyres and Humans alike. We all live together, not knowing if the man living next to us is Human or Vampyre, not knowing if we might be eaten or killed. One way or another, we know we have to trust that we might make it throug the night, or day. With Vampyres able to walk in the light of day, how are we supposed to know if the man we greet on the street every day is Human or Vampyre?

The human population can rest well, knowing that the Empire of the Sun is out there to protect them. Started by a Vampyre, Ramses Ziyad has taken it upon himself to rid the world of Vampyres. But he does not plan on killing them. Ziyad's plan is to "cure" the Vampyres, restoring life and humanity into the poor, wretched beings.

But with his father as the King of the Vampyres, ruling over the Regius Vita, things aren't going to be pretty. Little does the world know, but this domestic dispute could turn into an all out war, Humans against Vampyres.
